PRIVATE COACHING

At Sydney Cricket Coaching, we offer specialist 1-on-1 coaching to players of all ages and abilities. Much like a golf lesson, we provide expert coaching that is taylored to the player’s specific needs and requirements.

Forget about waiting for your turn to bat, don’t bowl for 90 mins and get an 8 min bat, come and get 1-on-1 expert coaching, you will notice the difference. With expert technique analysis, we can quickly identify your strengths and weaknesses. From this a specific program can be developed and implemented by our expert coaches.

Through core skill development and consolidation, we are able to improve not only the player’s technique but also empower them to take control of their game to ensure future success.

Sessions are 45min or 1hr and are held at Lionel Watts Oval, Belrose and various North Shore areas.

SPIN BOWLING COACHING

Mark McInnes is an experienced spin bowling coach. He is able to provide coaching in the form of one-to-one sessions, groups, spin bowling clinics and also can come to your club/school and help your spin bowlers.

HIGH PERFORMANCE CLINICS

High performance clinics are our school holiday cricket clinics where players can learn and improve their skills whilst making new friends and having lots of fun. Why not bring some friends along and have some fun these school holidays.

GROUP COACHING

Group Coaching Sessions are another form of coaching that we provide.

Whilst the players carry out what is essentially a net session, the coach is able to identify and address each player’s specific technical improvements. The coach can take an individual aside and work with them one-on-one or offer improvements whilst still participating in the group session.

The group environment allows the coach to see a player performing against their peers and in a team environment. It also promotes teamwork and a team focus whilst helping each other to improve and achive individual and team goals.

Players can learn from each other, develop new friendships whilst receiving expert coaching.

CONSULTANT COACHING

We offer a consultant coaching service to consult to teams, clubs or schools and offering expert coaching in a group or team environment.

Our Head Coach, Mark McInnes, is a Cricket Australia Level 2 accredited coach, and is available to share his passion for the game with your team/club/school. The focus would be on:
                  - improving player technique
                  - developing new skills
                  - improving teamwork
                  - building confidence
                  - enhancing self esteem
                  - achieve your team’s goals.

For example, it could be on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis throughout the season where we conduct a session with your team/club/school and ensure that all players are continuously improving and that team spirit is strong within the group. We would focus on individual technique correction and improvement whilst improving fielding in a team focused environment.

We can also provide seminars in all aspects of cricket and can also facilitate "Coach 2 Coach" sessions where we are able to coach coaches in all aspects of the game.
